The app calculates your daily caloric and macronutrient requirements which you can adjust. We then give you meal and workout plans based on your goals. Simply enter your fitness goals, target weight, dietary preferences and more. We do the rest.

Meal Planning

Auto-generate and customize. We, or you, will create a meal plan based on your caloric needs, dietary preferences, meal prep style and budget. Want to tweak it? Swap out meals anytime or choose from our recipe collection! Plus, you can add your own recipes for more personalization.

We suggest workout plans based on your goals, schedule and training frequency. Prefer building your own? Choose exercises from our database, track workouts and easily adjust sets and reps. Any selected workout plan can be treated as a fully customizable template!

Hi there! I'm Kreesan Moodley, the mind behind Fitness Made Practical. I'm a qualified Nutritionist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist.


What is the inspiration behind the brand?

It's perosnal. Growing up, I played cricket at a relatively high level. This developed into a passion for fitness as I grew older. Sport taught me discipline, resilience, team work, leadership and work ethic - things pivotal to success in life and I would not be where I am today without it. It is my duty to help others lead a healthy lifestyle so that they can experience the benefits of health and fitness. As an adult juggling different aspects of life, I know firsthand how tough it can be to stay consistent with nutrition and exercise. Fitness Made Practical aims to make health and fitness sustainable for everyone.


What is the 'Practical' in Fitness Made Practical?

People often share content on what is 'optimal' for a specific goal, but that may not be practical for you - Why? Because you may lead a vastly different lifestyle from the full-time pro bodybuilder or college fitness influencer. Our aim is to provide you with consolidated, research-backed content and put it into perspective so that you can decide what is practical for you, the individual.


The app gives you meal plans and workouts based on your specifics. You are then able to further customize anything you like. The blend of giving you what's appropriate for your constraints and having the ability to further customize allows you to setup a practical lifestyle that is sustainable in the long term.
